When we gather the goal is simple: To celebrate Jesus, have our lives transformed by his Spirit, and leave better prepared to be the church God’s called us to be. This year started off stronger than ever before.
While it has looked different (registering for gatherings, social distancing, and our staff wearing masks) thank you all for continuing to attend in-person each week

God designed every one of us for relationship and calls us to live out our faith in community. Our goal is to get every member of Crosspoint connected into a group for authentic relationships, spiritual growth, and mission. We celebrate the involvement we have seen in groups throughout this different year. With all the challenges we faced this past year, we are so thankful for everyone who has continued to engage & connect with each other.

"We are unable to attend church due to having immune-compromised family members in our immediate family. Virtual Kids Camp was such a blessing to us! Even though we were stuck at home it gave the girls something fun to look forward to while growing in Christ. Ryleigh loved the magic shows and hat contest! She still loves her cow hat she won! Ella loved the games and learning more about Christ. All around it was such a great experience. Thank you Crosspoint for all the hard work you put into this experience!"

"I enjoyed the Daniel study so very much. It has motivated me to dig and study God's Word. Everyone is very welcoming, and all the teachers do an excellent job! It is evident that you all have studied the scriptures, and I appreciate being a part of this study. I am looking forward to signing up for the next study in January! ."

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our 2020 kids camp looked completely different this year. We had our entire experience virtual for families to connect each evening online, and distributed take-home packets with projects to do at home.
We believe that God has placed Crosspoint City Church in our community for a greater purpose than meeting once a week. We’re convinced that His plan for our church involves us investing in our community through giving of time, energy, effort, and resources, all in the name of Jesus. This year, with your help, we were able to have more of an impact than ever before, when a global pandemic required us to focus on our community more than ever before.
With the worldwide pandemic this year, our church directly helped our community through the following initiatives: We served 60,000 meals, and donated $17,500 to the Red Door Food Pantry to help with the cost of food. We helped a mask-making team that sewed thousands of masks for local hospitals, we partnered with vulnerable populations to do personal shopping, and served a steak dinner to the night staff at the hospital.
We gave $5,000 to the City School System for mobile internet hotspot devices so kids could engage with at-home learning. We donated $10,000 to provide food to every child in the city schools over spring break. The Adairsville Campus donated another $5,000 to help at Adairsville Elementary. We Donated $10,000 to Bartow Give a Kid a chance to help with their efforts to provide kids with school supplies who could not afford it. This served $1,500 kids.
Hope for Christmas is our largest opportunity to serve the community, especially this past year, where we saw the greatest need we have ever had. We served over 2,000 kids at 7 different sites. We had our most generous year ever, which allowed us to give additional funds to partner organizations to cover every child, even every child on our waitlist. We served 700 families, which was 170 more than last year. Thank you all for serving and being so generous!
At Serve Saturday, we partner with the BLESS Coalition, Steet Store, Book Mobile, and Red Door Food Pantry to serve families in Allatoona, Kingston, and Adairsville. On average, we served and ministered to 150 families each month, providing necessary personal hygiene, home cleaning, and hygiene products.
Crosspoint endeavors to take the gospel to the nations through short-term mission trips throughout the year. Unfortunately this year, with the worldwide pandemic, we were not able to send any groups out on short-term mission trips. We were still able to make an impact financially, and thank you all for your continued support of our world engagement opportunities.
We invested $34,000 into fully funding a brand new Compassion site in Burkina Faso. This will provide educational programming, food, clothing, and biblical training to cover 250 children. As a church, you all also sponsored 287 additional Compassion children this year from Burkina Faso.
We gave $7,000 to our partners at Food for the Hungry so that the community in Alegria, Bolivia, would have food and medicine.
We gave a total of $39,000 to our partner missionary efforts abroad to fund 2 missionary families.
We know that God is a generous giver and not a taker because of Jesus (John 3:16). Since we are called to be imitators of God (Ephesians 5:1), we believe that generous, cheerful giving is essential to following Jesus and reflecting His character and nature to others. If you gave to Crosspoint in 2020 we are thankful for your generosity and the impact it has made in the lives of people in our community and world. We know that this year brought plenty of challenges, and our church was more generous than ever before!

We have seen God move in amazing ways this year! Here are a few numbers that give us a small glimpse of the life change that is happening each and every Sunday here at Crosspoint.
People indicated that they put their faith in Jesus for the first time
People follow Jesus by being baptized
Our vision at Crosspoint is to relentlessly pursue those far from God to help them know and follow Jesus. One of the ways we work to accomplish this vision is to multiply disciples by equipping men and women to be sent out. We do so in several ways.

People completed Advance Track
The internship has been a great place for me to use my passions to serve God and His church, and it has been flexible in allowing me to explore my call to ministry. Also, The internship has helped me develop a deeper love for the body of Christ, and He has used it to bring godly people into my life who encourage me to grow in my faith and love for Jesus Christ.

In 2019, we shared the incredible story of our first Campus baptisms that happened during the month of November. We witnessed a blended family come together and participate in the baptism of a mother, son, and daughter. This act of obedience brought healing to the family and inspiration to our church.
This year, we had a very similar experience occur during our spontaneous baptism moment. One of our worship team members obeyed the Holy Spirit prompting him to come and baptize his two oldest children. It was an amazing sight to behold as he stepped down from the platform to baptize his kids. This is an incredible testimony of God’s kindness and favor towards our campus and church.
