What is Group Connect?

Group Connect is an event to help people learn about groups at Crosspoint and join a group that works best for them. At Group Connect, you will learn about the different groups offered and then attend a breakout for the group type that best suits you. From that point, you will have the opportunity to join a Crosspoint Group.

Why Group Connect?

Group Connect will give you an opportunity to learn about the importance of groups at Crosspoint, know the expectations of being part of a group, as well as having a personalized time to help you decide the best group for you to join.

When is Group Connect?

Group Connect will take place on the following four consecutive Sundays: August 26th, September 2nd, September 9th and September 16th. Each Group Connect will take place from 2-3:15pm.

Where will Group Connect take place?

Group Connect will be located in Kids Auditorium and a team will help you navigate to the breakout time.

Do I have to attend Group Connect?

Type of Crosspoint Groups

DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS

Discipleship Groups are small, gender based groups that are focused on making disciples who are equipped to make disciples. Each group consists of one leader and three members. Each Discipleship Group will meet weekly for 12 - 18 months. By the end of the group, the hope is for members to be ready to multiply out and form his or her own group. Discipleship Groups require each member to commit to meeting weekly over the life of the group.

COMMUNITY GROUPS

Community Groups are a great way to connect in community, live on mission and grow spiritually with others. Community Groups generally have 8-15 people and they are broken out by men, women, married couples, and college aged groups. These groups will meet consistently throughout the year, but have scheduled break times for members. While no two groups are exactly the same, you can expect to pray, study Scripture, grow in meaningful relationships and live out your faith in a Community Group.

RECOVERY GROUPS

Recovery Groups aim to help people find freedom in Christ together. Recovery Groups meet throughout the entire year for accountability, discussion, community and biblical teaching. Recovery Groups are gender based groups and there are groups available for those suffering with substance and non-substance addictions. Recovery Groups meet every Tuesday night at 6pm.
